i seriously think this thing will get about a week in the sun, and then tank miserably.

I dunno... Guitar hero had a really slow burn, which grew and grew. I remember seeing it in 2005 and laughing at how dumb it was. Now it's huge. It's going off the heels of GH3.
I don't know how popular the microphone will be. I would like to see a music video of a great band playing their own song on "Rock Band" and getting a low score at the end or something. Spike Jonze should direct it.
