While I agree that Nokia hardware styling is getting similar to S-E's, you can't say that S-E came up with some of the new features seen in their latest feature phone OS.
The new 3 soft key UI on the K850 for example has been used since S40 3rd (2005). And today screen has been used on MS's Pocket PC for years.
