This type of device for PS2 and PS3 could help the PS2 stay alive and close the gap between PS3 and Wii - the gap filled with casual gamers.
There's one little problem with that, though: the Wiimote is included with the Wii, this is seperate from the PS2/3. Things like this generally don't gain wide acceptance with developers or consumers for this very reason.
