Far worse than a few more bucks per controller, having motion sensing makes devs want to graft poorly thought out waggle onto every single damn game (ask the Wii) just so they can say, "Now with Motion Sensing Controls!!!1!", and ruining an otherwise-great game.
I say that as a relatively happy Wii owner -- there's some pretty egregious abuses of the accelerometer, let me tell you.
