Reee chair made from recycled PlayStation 2 consoles
Where do old PS2s go to die? Well, apparently they go right underneath your lazy, game-addicted ass now that Britain's pli design is introducing a chair with a seat and back made entirely from recycled PlayStation 2 casings. Suggested retail price for the Reee chair is £99, which is actually MORE than you'll pay for a brand new PS2 these days, even in Britain.

If PS2s go underneath our asses when they die, where do tampons go to die?
ROFLROFFLES @ May 15th 2007 4:15PM
Ergonomically, they don't look that comfortable to me.

Does it have rumble? Or do you have to add it? :D
Andune @ May 15th 2007 6:06PM
The chair and rumble wont work together, if both features are active the rumble will interfere with the chair and make it fall over...
No way to fix it, yet.

Great (and humorous) recycling piece. It occured to me that there must be some myths about recycling out there, and then I found an interesting list on listafterlist.com - http://www.listafterlist.com/ListResults/tabid/57/ListID/7122/Default.aspx

@Andune
But RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RAAAAAAAAAAAACER makes it worthwhile.

I'm sure I've seen those at IKEA for £6

So can I play Final Fantasy with my butt cheeks?

I wonder what the PS3's will be used for next year, since they won't be used for gaming.

"I wonder what the PS3's will be used for next year, since they won't be used for gaming."
Your arrogance is pathetic. Most of the major blockbuster games of the seventh-generation are being released on the PlayStation 3 summer and fall of this year. You've obviously never heard of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone, et cetera.
Meanwhile, all the Xbox 360 has is the Halo 3 it's riding on, which has historically performed worse in sales compared to the Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, and CANONICAL Final Fantasy titles. All of which are exclusive to the PlayStation family. Even with the hype over Halo 3, that one title isn't enough to secure the Xbox 360 the win for the seventh-generation era.

@myscrnnm
I never said anything about Xbox360. Maybe the PS3's will be used for watching Blu-ray movies next year if all your Exclusive titles are pushed back once (or twice) more. Maybe the PS3 will be used for doorstops, no one knows. I've even thought about buying a PS3 and putting the innards of a George Forman grill inside the PS3 shell, because we all need to be honest, the PS3 looks like a George Forman grill.
I think you have short-changed the 360 as only having Halo 3 as its flagship app. How about Gears of War & Forza Motorsport 2? I'm not doubting the legitimacy of any future PS3 games you spoke about, I'm sure they're going to be great (non-facetious).

Looks like a great idea. It's no Trey chair (http://www.treychair.com), but it's a good way to recycle consoles that still have a lot of life left. Maybe Sony should get into the chair business, since they're losing money and all.

"I am going to kick your little bitch ass. Halo 2 is better than any PS2 game out. And Halo 3 BETA will be a better game than any PS3 game ever to be released. Please, what kind of bullshit are you into? Grand Turismo and cock sucking games like that. I have three words for you... PROJECT GOTHAM RACING; for the 360 will kick Grand Turismo's ass and will kick you ass so bad that Muhammad Ali will start to turn over in his grave. Sony just had the worst quarter in 4 years thanks to the PS3. Xbox Live might be $60 more expensive, but it is $500 better than the PS3 interface. Go fuck your self."
Why don't we take a look at the stats?
Halo: Combat Evolved - 5 million
Halo 2 - 8 million
Project Gotham Racing - 1.2 million
Final Fantasy VII - 10.5 million
Final Fantasy VIII - 6 million
Final Fantasy X - 5 million
Final Fantasy X-2 - 3 million
Final Fantasy XII - 3.7 million
Gran Turismo - 10.5 million
Gran Turismo 2 - 8.5 million
Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec - 11 million
Metal Gear Solid - 6.6 million
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - 7 million
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - 3.7 million
You can't really argue with numbers like that. And those are just the major exclusive titles.

If you guys didn't remember, this is an article about a CHAIR.
A chair!
And here you are arguing about game sales.
